H IS [Thumbs up image] HOT!

Welcome to the Division H Web site!  You're going to find here helpful information and resources, such as access to the four areas that make up Division H, contest materials and more.  Would you like to get involved and help at the annual division contest?  You came to the right place!  If you simply want to ask the Division H director a question, you'll find an e-mail link below.

We want this to be your starting point for all things Division H-related.  If you have an idea to make this site a more useful resource, please contact the webmaster using the information at the bottom of the page.

NEWS

[Contest image]                MARCH IS DIVISION CONTEST TIME!

Learn, grow, stretch yourself and have fun at the Division H International Speech and Table Topics Contests on Saturday, March 1.  Support the contestant(s) from your club or area, cheering on your champion!   For more information, to sign up to serve as a contest official, or to reserve a seat in our "studio audience," visit the District 38 Division & Area Contest Schedule.  Your advance notification is most appreciated by the contest organizers.

I have updated the Club Speech Contest Guide for Contest Chair and Club Speech Contest Guide for Chief Judge in the RESOURCES section below to reflect the latest editions of contest documents.  These were the basis for the upcoming Conquering Club Contest Concerns presentation at the Division H Round 2 Make Up training on December 14, 2024 and the subsequent video version for the Toastmaster Art YouTube channel.

Visit the Toastmaster Art YouTube channel to find videos of various Toastmasters Educational modules from the Successful Club Series and Better Speaker Series, as well as custom presentations, such as those which address the importance of having a club level speech contest and how to run one even when the resources are very limited.

If your club would like to have Toastmaster Art come and present one of the Toastmasters educational modules, reach out and make it happen!  The list of available (ready to go) presentations is below.  Those with links are available for viewing on the Toastmaster Art YouTube channel.  Roll your mouse over a title for the module's description.  If you would like an in-club presentation of a module not listed below, please provide two weeks advance notice.  There is no fee charged, though coverage of traveling expenses would be appreciated.  Send your request via electronic mail to ToastmasterArt@verizon.net.
